13th International SQAY Masters Cup held

The ISC held the 13th International SQAY Masters Cup from the 5th to 10th June 2026 at Pahalgam, Kashmir. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 200 athletes representing 5 countries, providing an excellent platform for international sporting exchange, technical development and promotion of the indigenous martial arts of SQAY.

IOMAF European Championship

The International Oriental Martial Arts Federation held the European Championship from 23rd to 24th May 2026 in Rome, Italy. The event brought together many athletes from 21 countries including Russia, Greece, Italy and so on.

40th World SQAY Foundation Day

SQAY, the timeless martial heritage of Kashmir with origins tracing back to 4012 BC, stands as an enduring symbol of valor, discipline and cultural legacy. Revitalized four decades ago, this ancient art form has been meticulously restructured and elevated to global prominence under the aegis of the ICS preserving its rich traditions while inspiring generations with its spirit of excellence, resilience and national pride. On this momentous occasion, the ICS, in unison with its esteemed global affiliates, proudly commemorated the 40th World SQAY Foundation Day on 7th May 2026.

Asian Jeet Kune-Do Championship

The International Jeet Kune Do Federation held the Asian Jeet Kune-Do Championship from 24th to 26th April 2026 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. More than 300 athletes from 15 countries including Russia, France, Italy, Kazakstan participated in the event.

The 3rd Snow Sqay Championship

The International Council of Sqay held 3rd Snow Sqay Championship in Kashmir, India from Feb.10-14.

The 4th Gulf Kowat Alrami Championship

The 4th Gulf Kowat Alrami Championship was held in Kuwait from Jan. 28-31 by the World Federation of Kowat Alrami and Self Defence. Took part in the event were Member organizations in Gulf and Arab region.

International Jeet Kune Do Competition in Commemoration of Bruce Lee

The International Jeet Kune Do Federation held International Jeet Kune Do Competition in Commemoration of Bruce Lee in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from Dec.20-21, 2025.

World Pahuyuth Cup held

World Pahuyuth Cup was held from Oct 25-29 in Chaboksar, Iran. 70 athletes and officials from Iran, Iraq and Turkey took part in the event.

Mr. Viacheslav Timofeev, President of WKC/FW, visited Bengaluru, India

Mr. Viacheslav Timofeev, President of World Karate Confederation founded by Fritz Wendland, visited Bengaluru, India from Oct 22-31 to look into the preparatory work for the World Karate Championship to be held in 2026. During his visit, he was invited to India National Karate Championship held in Bengaluru, India. In the Championship, seminar on competition regulations was held with the participation of 70 referees from many states of India.
